Import and Customs Supervisor
An international company is looking for a candidate for a position of Import and Customs Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
· Track and report the inbound goods flow before customs clearance
· Cooperate with customs broker to make sure the customs clearance process is smooth, quick and transparent
· Create the forecast for customs duties, VAT and customs broker service fees
· Prepare documents required for the clearance
· Proactively act to eliminate the risk of non compliance, delays, etc
· Maintain the report and inform the 3PL warehouse about inbound flow in advance
· Control that the payments to customs broker and forwarder are in line with agreed rates and on time
Requirements:
· High operational or management education
· 3-5 year professional experience in field of customs clearance and forwarding
· Comfortable working with individuals with difference languages and cultures
· Excellent communication skills.
· Effective decision making, sound judgment, and initiative.
· Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills.
· Ability to build strong relationships.
· Fluent English
