Aleading investment company is looking to find a suitable candidate to fill the role of Lawyer in Investment Banking and Finance to cover all legal aspects of debt and equity capital markets, M&A, with emphasis on the capital markets deals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for

drafting and negotiating legal documentation (engagement agreements, confidentiality agreements, underwriting agreements, comfort letters, etc.);
advising in connection with general corporate matters, issuance of securities, regulatory approvals (FAS, FSFM, CBR), listing requirements and disclosure rules;
ensuring compliance with internal policies applicable to IBF transactions;
coordination of outside counsel and review/negotiation of legal services agreements and legal opinions.

We are looking for somebody who has the following skill-sets and experience:

Russian law degree, LLM or JD is an advantage;
minimum of 2 years post-graduation work experience in an international law firm or an investment bank;
fluent in Russian and English;
experience with matters of Russian and English or US law and ability to cover cross-border (multi jurisdiction) transactions governed by English or US law;
experience in capital markets, M&A and/or structured finance transactions;
excellent inter-personal skills. The candidate must be able to work with a wide range of people across different geographies and product lines.
